Sponsorship/Corporate Donation Policy

As an independent small business organization, Metro Linen has the responsibility to support non-profit organizations that enhance the quality of life in our service areas. There are many worthy organizations requesting contributions that often exceed our giving capacity; therefore, our contributions will be limited to those organizations located in our communities who have as their mission statement and focus servicing the same service areas as Metro Linen. To assist us in determining what organizations will be considered for support, please see the below list of categories which Metro Linen support, but not limited too:

• Education
• Community Development
• Economic Development
• Environment
• Health
• Human Services
• Cultural Activities

All requests for donations must be supported by a formal written request that includes a brief mission statement of the organization, its leadership and the purpose of the funds. Requests are to be mailed to Metro Linen PO Box 978, McKinney, TX 75070 or faxed to 972-542-9330. A respond to the request will be sent within 20 days by personal letter approving, denying, or requesting additional information.

Any sponsored or donated linen damaged or lost is subject to charges.

Requests given preferential consideration are organizations which:

(1) Are tax exempt, IRS section 501(c)(3)
(2) Create a positive exposure for Metro Linen
(3) Involve our associates
(4) Improve the quality of life in our community

Metro Linen will not provide funding for the following types of requests:

• Organizations without a non-profit status
• Political organizations, candidates, or campaigns
• Lobbying groups
• Where the donation is for the purpose of an individual
• Solicitations received by form letter that discriminate on the basis of age, race, sex or national origin
